Imagine Peacefest

The Imagine Peacefest has asked Dr. Wallace along for a discussion on "peace and money" on the 13 November at 14:00 - 16:00 GMT in Second Life. The Imagine Peacefest runs every year and has many guest speakers and artists.

   

Umeå meeting

We are looking forward to start the autumn with a social event on Thursday the 8th of September 2011 with a meeting in the Umeå City Library at 6 PM (18.00 CET), from which we either proceed to walk towards a barbeque in Bölesholmarna or a film show in Öst på Stan (East-on-the-City), depending on whether we have a nice late summer's weather or a chilling rainy autumn's eve.

Everyone are invited to join this event and we especially look forward to newcomers joining up with us!

Dr. Wallace from EOS will present a talk on EOS' visionn for the future live at the Imagine Festival in Second Life at 18:00 CET on the 9th October, John Lennon’s birthday.

EOS has organised The Venus Project Leacture in Sweden in July 2010

The Venus Project presents a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture. There are many people today who are concerned with the serious problems that face our modern society: unemployment, violent crime, replacement of humans by technology, over-population and a decline in the Earth's ecosystems.

The Venus Project is dedicated to confronting all of these problems by actively engaging in the research, development, and application of workable solutions. Through the use of innovative approaches to social awareness, educational incentives, and the consistent application of the best that science and technology can offer directly to the social system, The Venus Project offers a comprehensive plan for social reclamation in which human beings, technology, and nature will be able to coexist in a long-term, sustainable state of dynamic equilibrium.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and listen to the dynamic Jacque Fresco (and Roxanne Meadows) speaking about his life-long work on the Venus Project with a Q & A session afterwards.
